Spokane’s Freshest, All in One Box

When you join our CSA, you support our farm and a network of trusted local growers who share our commitment to organic practices, sustainability, and exceptional produce.

ABOUT

What's a CSA (and why does it matter)?

When we started our farm over a decade ago, our goal was simple: grow the healthiest food we could, care for the planet while doing it, and reconnect people with the source of their food. That mission is at the heart of our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. When you join our CSA, you’re not just buying vegetables—you’re entering into a seasonal partnership with our farm. You support the farm up front in early spring, helping us purchase seeds, supplies, and tools, and in return, we grow a weekly share of fresh, organic produce just for you.

CSA members receive a diverse, pre-packed box of vegetables each week during the heart of the growing season. It’s perfect for households who love eating with the seasons, enjoy trying new things, and want easy access to nutrient-rich, locally grown food. Just swing by your pickup point and grab your box—fresh from our fields to your kitchen.

FAQs

Sprouting answers to your most common CSA questions.

How does weekly ordering & pickup work?

We'll text/email you each week before we harvest, and you'll have until that week's cutoff time (11:59pm Sundays) to add extras to your order, or to notify us if you need to skip the week's share.

And speaking of skip...

What happens if I go on vacation/need to skip a week?

While we'd never advise skipping your veggies, we understand that life gets busy! Every week, you'll receive an alert when our harvest starts, with the option to shop add-ons, or “skip” by 11:59pm Sunday to opt out of the week's order at no charge (full season members will receive a full week's credit to use on their next order).

For longer periods of time (like vacations), members can also place account holds and resume when ready.

What if I can't make pickup?

We encourage you to send a friend or family member to pick up for you if you aren't able to make your pick up, but with our new open hours there is more flexibility.

If you aren't able to make it on Tuesday afternoon, please send us a quick email to let us know if you plan to pick up later in the week and we will keep your CSA in our "CSA" cooler for you to pick up during our open hours (Tuesday - Friday, 9-5 and Saturday, 9-2).

Can I add-on extras?

Yes! Members get exclusive access to extras and add-ons from our trusted local partners.

What farms are part of your collective?

We are excited to partner with these local farms this coming season:

OPMA – a group of Organic family farms from Okanogan.  They collectively grow peaches, apples, cherries, pluots, plums, grapes, and pears. We love working with them and love the amazing fruit that they grow!

Vets on the Farm – VOTF
grows organic veggies just down the Palouse Highway from us. Their passionate team grows amazing winter squash, sweet corn, and more!

Hirschel Heritage Farm – located in Latah, Wa, Bruce and Brenda grow the sweetest organic carrots and beets and focus on growing high brix and nutrient dense veggies.

Happy Mountain Mushrooms – Krysta and her team grow Organic mushrooms in Colbert, Wa. We feel so fortunate to be able to eat local Organic mushrooms all year round. Lion’s Mane, Oysters, Chestnut, and more!

New Heritage Farms – Rauha and Ben own and operate New Heritage Farms in Otis Orchards. They grow organically and focus on baby field greens like arugula, as well as tomatoes. Ben worked with us the first 3 years of Casa Cano Farms, helping us grow to where we are now.

Snapdragon Flower Farm – Beth grows and arranges beautiful bouquets that you can bury your face in because they’re organic!

Fresh Cut Farms – Jim and Connie grow vegetables and also raise lamb in Deer Park, Wa. They grow a diversity of organic vegetables, including broccoli and carrots.

Dog Wild Farm – Scot and Kendra grow delicious produce and vibrant flowers just north of Spokane. Their focus is on sustainability, both of how they grow produce and the sustainability of their Spokane community’s access to healthy, local food.

What's the difference between csa and seasonal produce boxes?

The CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) membership focuses on connecting you with your farm and the food you eat, and building our farm community.  It provides a larger share of produce  during the heart of our growing season, using a traditional, pay-up-front CSA model.  You can pick your CSA up at our farm in Valleyford or at our South Hill drop point in Spokane. There are 8-12 items in each CSA share.

The Seasonal Produce Box is a year round subscription that can easily be paused and resumed as needed, and is paid weekly as you receive each box.   There are 4-6 items in each box, with room to order add-ons for one stop grocery shopping.  You can pick your Seasonal Produce Box up at our farm in Valleyford or have it delivered to your home in the Valleyford/Spokane area.
